This Jets/Ducks game is getting really good and heated up. Might be the best series along with hawks/preds in terms of action. I still hate Buff though.

I doubt that the Penguins fire their coach. It's not his fault that the players refuse to listen to him. They see the game the way that they want and refuse to budge. Better to get rid of these clowns. Then, being a Flyers fan, I hope that the players stay and the coach gets the axe.

Hornqvist was furiously endeavoring to make sure that any goal scored in the dying moments wouldn't count, what with his flagrant crosscheck to Hank.

Also, I second the notion that Lundqvist is on Bryz levels for puck handling, holy crap.

They really need to trade Crosby or Malkin. They have zero depth and both players are on lines with trash. If they ever want to have a legitimate chance at another cup in this current Pens era they'l need to trade one for a bunch of complimentary players.

The Penguins have really been terribly snakebitten on defense, with Maatta's cancer and Letang's stroke. I loathe the organization but wouldn't wish either on anyone.

Now Lovejoy for Despres is funny.

I haven´t seen the first two games of that series, but right now they are playing awesome hockey. I think I´ll follow that series more closely.

Before we annoint Edmonton as the next dynasty, let's just remember how bad devan dubnyk was behind that group of forwards and dmen. And it hasn't been upgraded at all.

Buff once again caught out of position and then taking a dumb penalty. He's a big dumb ****

The best-case scenario for the Oilers is that McDavid's selection has a cascade effect on attracting a very good coach, then to signing of some quality FAs, and finally a deal to bring in a legitimate starting goaltender.

Worst-case is that MacTavish sits back on his McDavid laurels, believes what he said about pure offense winning games, and puts all his hopes (again) on a just-drafted rookie leading the Oilers to the playoffs.

Beleksey just destroyed Pardy then Anaheim scored. Pardy looked drunk after it.

I suppose you disagree? Of all the top tier goalies, I think Lundqvist and Quick are by far the worst at handling the puck.
