How has Eric Martinsson played in preseason?
He's been in one game and it wasn't televised. I listened to the game, but his name wasn't mentioned other than in passing.

6th of October vs. VGK, will be an interesting game since we the Wild them last year and who doesn't like Knights hockey anyway
Lots of Wild fans are still bitter about the Vegas team for various reasons...
Precisely. Should’ve just left them with a choice between Brodin and Scandella.mostly haula and tuch going for no good reason.

Brodin and Staal are pretty good reasons
KoivuThe fact we have limited forward and prospect depth and had a deep blueline, talked about trading brodin for months yet wouldnt be ok with him being taken as we had depth behind at LD? staal was protected, it was simply haula and tuch given away to protect brodin.

Koivu
Parise
Nino
Granlund
Coyle
Pominville
One of Staal or Zucker would have been the 8th forward exposed, in addition to Brodin.
7F: Parise, Koivu, Granlund, Nino, Coyle, Staal, ZuckerScandella wasn't going to be picked by Vegas. Their choice would have been either Staal/Zucker or Brodin/Dumba.
Pominville had an NTC that prevented him from being exposed. Without that NTC things probably would have gone differently.i believe pommer would of been exposed over staal then they were taking the chance on zucker or brodin

Wrong

If you want to be specific Brodin was protected (as the 3rd d-man) and Dumba was left exposed. Zucker was protected (as the 7th FWD) and Staal left exposed. But that's just a list that was submitted after the trade was made, so maybe it changes if there wasn't a trade and maybe it doesn't.
The trade talk before the expansion draft was for players that wouldn't have been exposed. Then there was the fear of trading Brodin and leaving Scandella exposed and he gets taken. There goes the Blueline depth.
Haula wasn't coming back regardless of what happened in the expansion draft. The choice was between Brodin/Dumba/Zucker/Staal/Tuchfine, the technical form is it was tuch to protect dumba and staal so they could leave others exposed and they take haula. it stings as it would of been fine to risk it and let brodin get taken and keep scandella.

7F: Parise, Koivu, Granlund, Nino, Coyle, Staal, Zucker
3D: Suter, Spurgeon, Dumba
1G: Dubnyk
Buyout: Pominville
Am I missing someone?

Why are you in a conversation that you know nothing about? This is all common knowledge.tuch would of been protected in the ahl? was dumba or brodin not both as one of those 2 were going to be protected. why would haula not come back?
I am talking about the choice that Fletcher hadTuch fell under the years played clause, so he was exempt.
