Welcome to the boards Paul. Hopefully one day you'll make it out here to watch your favorite team at home. Nothing like watching a Blues game in the seats of the STC cheering along with your fellow fans.

I still might. My father lives out in Glen Carbon so if I ever travel the few thousand kilometers from California to Illinois I just might get that chance.

It was a real strange experience when I went to the HP Pavilion. Only saw about 8 Blues sweaters out there in a sea of 17,500. I did get a giggle taunting all the Sharks fans though.

Woah! You have Casey's stick from that fateful night? Just about every single poster and member on this board considers one of the defining moments (albeit sad) in Blues history.

I would definitely hall my ass down to the STL to partake in a ceremonial stick burning. Let's do it! We can all give it a proper send off into Blues infamy and lore.

It's still something I'm debating - I've thought about it over the years... I'm not sure I'm ready to advocate the destruction of hockey history, and a gift from a family friend no less, but like I said, perhaps if we get close to Cup contention in the next few years we can have ourselves a little "cleansing". I'll get back to you guys on that one!

Well, there's no doubt it is something very special, prized and personal. But it's okay, we don't have to really burn it; I've done it already in my head..;)
