Yup i'm worried about this road trip as well. I don't want wins if it means no coaching change
If no changes are made then we will end up bottom 5 in the league .
Right now we are 8 last.

If we give up another 1 st Rd pk I will kill dubii

Engvall and Korshkovs development paths are so interesting to me. Drafted two years and 5 rounds apart but are born the same year, and both look to be at similar points as long term projects. Both have had a number of injuries in the past as well that could have ruined their development.

I really wish Engvall would take the body more and some snarl.
One thing the Goat has brought to the table thisvyr is his physical play.

If Engvall can play center half decently he's a much bigger threat than Gauthier, and just about anybody is better than Shore.

Texas is pretty awful though. A definite contributor today.
I have been at countless pro games over the years from NHL all the way down to FHL. That Texas team may have been the most godawful team I have ever seen at any pro level. Game was sloppy as Hell from both sides but was actually quite entertaining. Highlight of the total gong show was Texas pulling their goalie after going down 4-0, backup quickly gives up 2 more, he gets yanked and goes Bo Jackson and snaps his stick in half as he's skating off the ice.

it's top10 protected. So if Toronto is going to miss the playoffs miss big. So maybe it would be best just to see this through and see what Babcock does, lose big then make big changes in the offseason

Engvall is physical, he just doesn't have a mean streak. He was 6'3" and I think just 185lbs or something when we drafted him so once he really gets used to his frame and how to use it I think he'll be fine. He's 6'5" 214 right now so still some room to grow maybe and get stronger

His shot is fantastic and I hope he can develop as a full time center.

His filling out was always about getting robust enough to handle NHL hockey. He's never going to be anything other than a soft big guy. There are soft big guys who play in the NHL. A soft big guy isn't what the Leafs desperately need right now but it's positive to have possible NHL upside on the Marlies.
