Come on asking McDavid for Makar, yes Makar might be untouchable but to ask for McJesus is nuts and to add Poolparty on top of that yikes. This is why trade threads derails in a point where both fanbases flame each other. People might think that we overrate Makar but so what ? We need Makar more than Klefbom or Poolparty pay attention to our needs, we basically have nothing after EJ and Barrie. I'm more confident that Makar will be better than Barrie. Timmins is far from being a sure thing but he is a great prospect while our left side is set. I take Girard and Big Z over Klefbom and I don't think any Avs fan would entertain trading one of those for Klefbom. So again Barrie should be the trade option not Makar.

Maker is projected at 2nd pairing. Klefbom is already a 1st pairing. Why the hell would the Oilers make such a traded and add a 10th OA pick?
Ethan Bear is the Makar of the Oilers.
This deal makes zero sense for Edmonton

Klefbom looked more like a 3rd pairing guy last year. Time will tell.
