Horrible. How is the coverage blown so badly. Line changes look like garbage tonight. Taking too long to get bodies changed.
it's what i was alluding to earlier. he's just flailed a lot this year for not much reason/benefit.Is there some reason that Rinne loves to fall on his face when trying to make a save?
For all the criticism Saros gets on it, Rinne's rebound control has been much poorer this season as well.it's what i was alluding to earlier. he's just flailed a lot this year for not much reason/benefit.
they just aren't what we thought they were. it's very disappointing. Our top 6 is so disappointing. You'd think they'd get tired of being outplayed by our bottom 6 at some point.
i suspect we can combine the 2 here. For all the criticism Saros gets on it, Rinne's rebound control has been much poorer this season as well.
thanks James Neal!i suspect we can combine the 2 here.
disappointing "top 6" - granlund penalty + rinne flailing = EDM PP goal
I'm done with Johansen. Considering his minutes and normal linemates I think we'd get better value with Turris at $6M than him at $8M going forward.they just aren't what we thought they were. it's very disappointing.
he's been disappointing in the regular season every year. he was money in our miracle run and has gotten a pass on scrutiny ever since.I'm done with Johansen. Considering his minutes and normal linemates I think we'd get better value with Turris at $6M than him at $8M going forward.

He's a much better player than what we've gotten. I'm going to argue some mix of playstyle and usage got him off to a bad start here and has wrecked his confidence. I don't think it's salvageable and it's going to suck when he reverts to a 60 point player elsewhere.I thought Granlund was advertised as a 2-way player? 2-way contract, maybe.
Get what we can for him, don't retain one of Granlund/Smith and sign Taylor Hall (who will proceed to be a 55-point player here).I was just thinking Johansen is the biggest waste of 8M in salary/cap space that I can think of right now.
This reminds me somewhat of the Smith conversations during the Trotz years. But Smith hasn't exploded since Trotz left either. He's a much better player than what we've gotten. Yeah, maybe. You don't fluke into back-to-back 69-67 point seasons though. That said, a few Wild fans commented that his play was down last year before the trade, so maybe something else has been going on.This reminds me somewhat of the Smith conversations during the Trotz years. He's not really wrong though, and it gets him into trouble.I don't think I care for Lambert basically calling scoresberg a hotdog.
