Random but why do teams send scouts to games? Can't they simply watch film, I'm sure they have access to all angles of every game.

Maybe to discuss in person?

You can see a lot when live. See how they skate without the puck. How they go to bench. How they manage shift.

In this case scouts are looking at both teams. Will see a lot of that this time of year with two teams on bubble or out.

High level soccer matches typically have an 11v11 camera for the tactical birds eye view of the entire field. Doesn't the NFL have something similar so they can evaluate what the QB see's down field (vice the live feed cameras) I've never scene NHL videos showing the entire ice.
