Then and there
Mbappe scores his 26th goal of the season on his way to 4th consecutive top scorer award putting PSG ahead against Metz.

This could spell doom for Metz regarding relegation, depending on other results.

Edit: And just a moment later he scores his second after nice through pass from Messi.

Edi2: And now Neymar of the Triumvirate gets into action as well, making it 3-0. It was his 100th goal for PSG. Btw, he still didn't speak French during his half-time interview, but at least he seems to understand it well enough.

Then and there
Mbappe completes his hat-trick on 51st minute, does seem to enjoy playing for PSG and not regretting his decision to stay at all.

Then and there
Metz start some thugging, Kimpembe and Neymar getting kicked hard, and Metz have a player sent off.

Maybe the Spanish-speaking PSG players are starting to be afraid that Papa Matar Sarr will kill them :sarcasm:

Edit: Even Di Maria manages to score in his farewell match.

Incredible last round with plenty of dramatic goals to change the european qualifications and relegations.
OM will go straight to CL thanks to a last second goal in the Lens/Monaco game.
Monaco will go to CL qualifiers (2 rounds, one of which they failed this year).
Nantes (Cup winners) and Rennes (thanks to a last second goal at Lille) will go to Europa.
Nice will go to Conference.
Metz and Bordeaux are relegated and St Etienne will go to playoffs against Auxerre thanks to a late goal by Hamouma that sent Metz into L2.

Supposedly Nice is lining up Michael Edwards for a back room spot. That would be a coup for them.

Someone named Perrin scoring a big goal against Saint Etienne is funny.

Then and there
St.Etienne equalizes after 75 mins and then some idiot spectator runs on the pitch attacking the scorer. Luckily he was quickly caught and removed.

Real happy Auxerre are back. Such a fun team in the 90s.

But damn that pitch invasion, WTF? Looked like a war zone out there. I hope no players got hurt. They seemed to be running for their lives.

Yup scary scenes.
But also very happy to see Auxerre going up.
And St Etienne had it coming for a while. Their two presidents have sunk the team. They, just like Bordeaux, need a new start.
Those two teams are historic teams, but L2 might be just what they need to rebuild.

Might be too early to ask this, but what do you think we can expect from them? How's the ownership, their finances, do they still have an amazing academy? What about the team, will they need a lot of new players?

No they don't have that amazing academy we were used to under Roux.
They have an offensive coach who's used to promoting sides but who struggles in L1 (Furlan).
They're not strong financially. Their team has overachieved.
Basically the best we can hope is a season like Clermont's.
