Then and there
PSG absolutely incredible collectively in this first game. Neymar had 1+3 and the impression that he loves playing for Galtier seems more real than ever. Messi scores 2 and played well, the Verratti/Vitinha midfield is just porn football, and the 3 at the back (Ramos/Marqui/Presnel) seems extremely solid. Of course, Mendes and Hakimi on the wings are having a field day with the front 3. Sarabia was a bit underwhelming but he was decent and more importantly, Mbappe is the one replacing him soon. Ekitike will soon be the alternative.

Everyone who saw that team under Poch and under Galtier can see the difference in terms of motivation, effort and playingtogetherness.

Hmm, I don't recall this happening a year ago.

I have to say it. It's just a game

Oh I know and again, it isn't so much about the result or the number of games, but rather on the cohesion. And you can see Ney and Messi's attitudes are completely different.

It didn't.

It didn't.

So, it didn't happen during the 2021/22 season, which this thread is about :naughty:

Auxerre was out of their depth in every corner of the pitch. They'll need to adjust.
However, one must stress how Fonseca is already changing this Lille team. I expect a good season from them.

Don't go behind the goals as Nice ultras are pretty bad.
Beautiful stadium though, it's similar to Munich's.
Keep an eye on Gouiri though something isn't right with him right now.
Todibo will be a rock I can tell you.
Strasbourg is well coached.

Gouiri has that “I wanted to leave but the club didn’t let me transfer out” energy right now
