Nantes won the cup 1-0 against Nice thanks to a penalty. Not a classic and some tense scenes in the end between player confrontations from both teams. I guess Lafont did well, but maybe the highlight of the night was the noticable presence of re-elected president Macron in all the ceremonies.

Galtier hasn't got Nice playing to expected level after winnng the league with Lille previously, and midtable Nantes qualifying for Europe makes it more complicated for clubs near the top of the table.

When I watched them this season one thing that really stood out was they thought Kluivert would be a bigger part of the team and he just wasn't. Guy plays like a spoiled brat.

Galtier has managed to make Nice is a very tough defensive team like Lille.
But opponents have adjusted. If you give them the ball and regroup, Nice isn't going to score. They're only dangerous in transition.

Neymar scores a penalty after Marquinhos had put PSG ahead from a goal after Di Maria's good cross. More importantly, Mbappe wasn't seriously injured when he was tackled leading to that penalty being given.

St.Etienne looked to boost their survival hopes after leading 2-0 at half-time, but Nice have stormed into 3-2 lead including couple of Andy Delort goals.

Messi with two goals already, to compensate for all those instances when he hit the post.

PSG now 3-0 up after Mbappe keeps on toying with Montpellier defence.

Last matchday and still a lot can happen in the battle for European tickets. Rennes are at Lille and have to hope one of Monaco (at Lens) or Marseille (v Strasbourg) lose to grab a CL ticket.
Strasbourg (and Nice) can also still overtake Rennes for an EL ticket. Strasbourg are holding an Conf. League ticket now but both Nice and Lens can still take that one too.

Nuno Mendes in Ligue 1 team of the year. Really happy for the kid, wasn't sure how he'd do moving so young like a couple other youth players recently.

He struggled at first and he is lt perfect. Yet.
But he has proved tremendously throughout the season.
