Nope,if the Leafs go to the shootout and the Isles lose it's over.

If Tampa beats us in OT then they can still tie ROW, h2h would be tied, and we'd have to manage to hold onto our GD advantage.

The game will be a half hour after the Ottawa-Boston and NYI-Carolina tilts. It would be funny if Ottawa clinches and we go to a shootout and lose the game and the Lightning players celebrate only to realize afterwards they've been eliminated ala the U23 team at the World Cup.

Biggest test of the new era tomorrow. Beating Tampa would resoundingly validate a successful rebuild thus far, and officially smash the curse. A loss will truly sting, at least in the short term. Especially after the throw away effort on Tuesday!

I guess they have two more chances after Tampa, but that is a big risk to take. Godspeed young Leafs, godspeed.
