Two Bond flicks that I end up enjoying more and more everytime I watch them (...about once every two years) are The Living Daylights and Octopussy.

Craig either do great (Casino and Skyfall) or boring (Quantum and Spectre).

...Eh.. Licence feels too much like a B-Movie (Dalton and Robert Davi are great in that movie though).
Seriously, take out a few campy scences, or add a few (that movie has a serious identity crisis), and that's probably amongst the five best Bonds as far as I'm concerned.

Not sure who is into anime type shows, but Invincible on Prime was really good. Gives me The Boys vibe. Good voice cast too

The underground railroad (Prime): Very slow and there's part I ended up fast forwarding. It could have been good without those long scenes going nowhere. It's still very well done and it shows how hard and inhuman it was during slavery in the US (Lots of very graphic and disturbing scenes). The story is good overall but they could have done it in 5-6 episodes and it would been a great series. 6/10

On Her Majesty’s Secret Service is the best Bond film. The world just wasn’t ready for a serious version, nor did they take to Lazenby.
People left the theatre feeling bad after that one.

Meanwhile in the 70s

- Underwater Lotus Espri
- Sea-doo before anyone had ever seen one
- Sharks
- Best intro ever with the Union Jack parachute
- Back and forth with the Russian agent
- Jaws

You saw that movie and you left in a very good mood. It's still so much fun to watch.

Jaws is quite interesting as well. He starts off as being pretty terrifying. The pyramid scene is pretty chilling actually. Then the scene in the desert, great and then mixed with comic relief. He has to be one of the best characters ever in that franchise. Devolved into slapstick in Moonraker for sure... he's the only thing in that movie worth watching.

Sidenote on Bond films:

I thought Spectre started out so great. Loved the meeting with all the bad guys there and this big evil conspiracy... so creepy. I thought that was going to be the all time best.

And then.... they ripped off Austin Powers? What the hell were they thinking?

I hate when writers think that making things personal is somehow a shortcut to depth. The great thing about Blofeld was the mystery. We didn't know anything about him other than he wanted world domination. Making him Bond's stepbrother was just so freaking dumb. And the movie just got sillier as it went along. Great buildup over many films. Great start to that movie and then it all got flushed. What a disappointment.

Anybody watching army of the dead yet?

Started it last night......but I had a lot of trouble getting into it so far.
It's what a called a ''Turn your brain off'' kind of movie from what I saw....at least for the 1h10 I saw.

A 2h30 zombie movie that lack seriousness and humour at the same time.
The special effects are okay for that genre.

Have to say I enjoyed it, lot of “new” ideas in a zombie movie, liked the main actor, also liked the actor that played the pilot. Could’ve been better in a 2h movie
