Remember in 2013-14 we took 4 out of 6 points during this California trip, including a thrilling win over the eventual Cup winning Kings. Of course what seemed like a sign that this team had arrived precluded an 8 game losing streak and a 2-12 end to the season.

This trip doesn't make or break this season, the East is still such a mess that even going 0-3 could be salvageable. Of course I'd prefer to win outright. 3 out of 6 I'll consider a success.

Florida a team nipping at Leafs heals swept through California going 3-0 so now we will see how Leafs stack up against the same.

A similar success rate would help secure a playoff spot while a 0-3 trip would be a real dent in hopes.
