Demanding travel in the "Q"
Trying to keep up on school
might be running out of a gas in his first season in North America.
It might have been easier if he had played in the OHL around the Toronto, but if can survive three years in the Quebec League, any travel after that in the AHL or NHL is easy.
A few off seasons training with some other prospects....and for his sake and the Leafs sake hope he can reach his potential.
Some other European prospects stay in Europe for a years and I can't blame them. Hey but to move to such a new situation as an 18 year old...good for him.

I think he is probably more skilled, but if he makes the same type of impact, then that is a fantasic 3rd round pick.

Hahaha yeah this. Also, the trade deadline has come and gone. The Leafs aren't currently in the business of trading talented prospects away.
Looks like one of the Sportsnet channels are going to be showing Dzierkals playoff game tonight.

In August 30, Dzierkals made a debut in Latvia men's NT and today in his second game played he scored his first goal against Austria in 8:1 victory in first out of three Olympic Qualification games.
