Dani Alves got four and a half years, which is a short sentence tbh for sexual assault, but at least it shows justice in Spain works a bit better than in the UK..

this is from 2020, but it's worse in Spain.

The US has issued a security alert for its citizens visiting Spain in response to a rise in the number of reported sexual assaults across the country.

Spain’s prime minister, Pedro Sánchez, has apologised to victims for a loophole in a landmark new law that was intended to toughen penalties for sexual crimes but has allowed some convicted offenders to reduce their sentences.

It's worse in the sense the penalties are low but at least they exist. How much prison did Bissouma, Mendy, Sigurdjonsson, Antony, Greenwood or Partey do in the UK? The only one who did time was Evans and it turned out he was falsely accused ...

Spain is a front-runner in violence against women. They have gone from awful to top notch.
This is NOT a country the US, UK or France should look down to on that aspect.

Then and there
A very controlled win for Barca over Getafe. I wouldn't say they were perfect, or spectacular, but Getafe had no chance today, they provided no threat at all, it was total domination for Barca.

I didn't even notice that Greenwood played.

Haven't watched much of Ilaix Moriba lately, but it seems that he has somehow even regressed from his younger days in Barcelona. I guess he is happier with his money, but seems like his career is going nowhere. Obviously who knows what would have happened had he stayed with Barca, but there certainly was potential for more than what he has now become.

Aguirre's Mallorca continue their great run in the Copa del Rey and are now leading away at Real Sociedad, after surviving a penalty against them in the first half. They're about 40 minutes away from the final.

Oyarzabal is back with a bang, makes it 1-1 after a great pass by Brais Mendez, who missed the penalty in the first half.

Mallorca wins after the penalty shootout, scoring on every shot! Oyarzabal missed the first penalty for Real, so the islanders are in the final!

Failed shot by Valencia turned into a goal by Hugo Duro header, putting them ahead against Real Madrid at 27 mins.

Edit: It's now 2-0 already, Yaremchuk capitalizes after Carvajal's mistake.

What a f***ing disgrace of turnover.

One of your stars gets racially abused by a trash fanbase and you play like that? Absolutely pathetic.
That shot of Lucas and Modric laughing on the bench immediately after Vini was getting booed is a good clue they might be done with his act in the locker room too.

The ref has been absolute trash. Letting too much things go and whistling the half when Valencia is in a clear attacking phase
In his defense it looked like Real might have gotten control of that ball for a second there. But Rodrigo and Vini deserved bookings for late tackles.
