so who’s next? Admirals goalie Matt Deluca had a 1.26 goals against average :)
Or maybe....
Mikael Kingo, G (Vaughan Kings)
Playing for a red-hot Kings team that faced off with JRC in the GTHL final, Kingo stood tall in a goaltending duel duo with Domenic DiVincentiis. Kingo, who had nine shutouts this season, is an athletic goaltender with a quick glove and is a true battler in the crease. He’s calm and relaxed in the net, allowing him to move on after a goal against. Kingo was featured in a previous issue of The Hockey News about his hockey journey while helping families in need of medical care.

I'm more of a fan of taking these big kids with room to fill out after the first round, in the early middle rounds. I find 6'3+ kids taken in the first round are almost like D men, some become great but a lot just become decent players who over performed due to size advantage with immature (physical development) players. Most big guys taken late in the draft just have too many holes in their game that they are projects and even then won't be much other than a bottom 6 checker.

Let me guess......we can only afford one scout and he was watching the Southern Tier Admirals all year? We could not afford to give him gas money? Social Distancing? LOL! Reminds me of the Leafs of the 70's when it seemed they got all their picks from the Belleville Bulls.

Remember it well. That was actually late 80s. And Belleville wasn't even that good. What a brutal draft.

Jacob is a legit player. If anything he slipped to us Vs we picked early because we wanted his brother.

Jack Parsons

2019-20 Team: Cornwall Colts (HEO)
2019-20 Statistics: 23GP: 2.28 G.A.A. – .929% SVP
While the Cornwall Colts weren’t particularly dominant in the HEO this past season, Jack Parsons certainly was. In his 23 games played for the Colts, Parsons played lights out hockey — consistently frustrating opposing teams owing to his impenetrable nature in the crease. As an incredibly athletic goaltender with great size, Parsons is an imposing presence in goal who affords opposing shooters with very few opportunities to bulge the twine. Moreover, with quick and direct reflexes as well as a powerful lower-body, Parsons can cover his crease with ease and make highlight-reel saves which regularly keep his team in the game.

Is Southern Tier the only team we scouted??
Reminds me of the 1989 NHL draft where the Leafs drafted 3 Belleville Bulls in the 1st round - Scott Thornton, Rob Pearson, and Steve Bancroft. Hope our picks turn out better.

Taking a flyer after locking down 4 other picks. Not bad, hopefully we see him in a few years as online it seems he will be going to the program.
