Been to Helsinki in 2014. Nice city, but Ufa has better restaurants. Of course IMHO.
As for he felt more home, well it's obvious he would feel more at home in a country, where swedish is an official language, there are people similar to him etc.
However, there's a significant difference between "I feel more at home in Helsinki" and "I hate Ufa". I am not sure he ever said this though.

How long time were you in the city and how many restaurants did you visited? In average/cheap category the restaurants are mostly just average but if you are ready to pay more, there is awesome restaurants. Plus you can find good restaurants with fair prices but you have know those places and get hints from the locals.

This is true, I know this for a fact as I visited Robert Nilsson when he lived in Ufa. There was nothing wrong with the apartment or the area, it was rather western looking. Can't remember where he lived exactly. I doubt Omark said he hated Ufa but he could probably have said something like he doesn't like the way of living in Russia. It's not for everybody... But as long as you are getting paid millions of Euros, it's worth it.

Just btw, but Nilsson played in Ufa like 4-5 years ago. Ufa invested a lot of money in infrastructure since then(because of the Shanghai Club event). So, now it's even better.

13,4 million euros losses. 11,6 million turnover, which is shockingly small considering in 2010-2011 season in SM-Liiga Jokerit turnover was just over 10 million euros. HIFK's last season's turnover was 9 million euros. Operating expenses were 23,1 million euros, salary costs weres 12,6 million. Losses for this season are expected to be in the same range.

Small money for Rothenberg & Timtsenko

Though how do we know it's all reported? Maybe part of it is in Cayman islands thru nordea's help or something :D (Like those guys needed Nordea).

Zapolski is great Goalie. Active goaltender, unlike Karlsson. Good active goalie is always upgrade for good % goalie, but Henke wasn't bad, I wish him the all the best and thanks for his time in Finland.

Have you forgotten that Nordea ditched them sometime ago already due to sanctions?


Harkimo might also have to sell his shares if he becomes even vice-chairman of Kokoomus and lands a cabinet position.

Kohonen said that they got around 3.5M income from KHL (tv-deal plus other stuff) which doesn't show in that number so total losses would be around 10M.

He also said (which we know) that the sanctions hurt some deals. Companies couldnt do business with sanctions people.

What would force him to sell his part of Jokerit even if he was the chairman of kokoomus? I guess you meant law in general but that's not enough, I think chairman can own a company. Link to law that you suspect would force that?

It's not a law, I guess, but he can't be in any association with people on the sanctions list in such a high position.

Our ice "palace" can hold only around 900 people so I hope not many ice hockey fans in Turkey know about this. :laugh:

At the moment I am not in İstanbul, but if I knew I'd be able to get a few photographs and signatures, I would go back for this game. However, I think this will not be the case because I am sure the place will be overcrowded - before me, there are many "authorized" people to "reach" players, meh.

I havent seen Anttila for years. He is huge (203cm). I hope his skating has improved in Sweden and he says it has. I remember that he can throw some heavy hits. Hopefully we'll see that stuff next year.

Marjamäki, physical power forward and agitator with some skills too. Can play many roles.

Not wow! signings, but shows that Jalonen wants bigger and more physical team. Like that.

Rumours are that Gratton isn't coming after all, maybe he just follows Jokerit on social media because of his former Ässät team mate Marjamäki.
