Think how frustrating these losses would be if we were actually playing meaningful games. In our situation all you can do is laugh at what you see.

Good tank game result imo. Hutch played well but was very unlucky on a deflection off our own guy. We hit a post and competed pretty well.. but lost.

I mean, it wouldn't be the worse thing. Would likely give Morrissey another game and developing and making sure guys are 100% is likely the most important thing at this point.

It wasn't on Hutch. Jets fell asleep in the 2nd, lucky to only get 2 goals during that period.

The 3rd was lost by a delicious free pizza delivered by Myers. 55 didn't really have a good game either. Bad powerplay was bad. It was an exciting game, but more of the same.

That said, the Red Wings aren't very good and won't make it far in the playoffs. We are worse of course.

That game was Myers in a nutshell. Ability to do spectacular things, but low IQ. There was a 3 on 1 for the Jets where he literally put himself a foot behind Schiefele in stride so that when the pass game it just went right by him and the Red Wings turned it back. So dumb.

There are no guarantees, but I'll take my chances at a top-3 pick if we finish bottom-2. With our schedule... and with Babcock's ability to squeeze wine from turds, even the Leafs could be caught. Doubtful, I know...
