I have one major issue with his game. In the defensive zone if he is ever below the dot and he gets the puck he immediately slaps it to the other side even if there's better options. That probably worked in the past for him because of the larger ice which gave his teammates more time to get to it but it does not work here and needs to be ironed out of his game

On the other hand, that fits in well with the Hynes system

Well, that sucked. It was very obvious very early in the third that we would lose. Hynes substituted Hayden for Bratt on the Hughes line. Zacha seemed to be benched for a while in the third too. And with Cory going down, it just all came together into a crap storm. Their gap control in the first two periods was tremendous. In the third, the D men backed up to the top of the circles as the Jets entered the zone.

I liked a lot of what I saw in this game. I'm putting this loss mostly on Hynes. He's just an idiot. Completely changed the game plan in the third and it was a disaster. Also, that was some of the worst officiating I've ever seen.
