Man was he bad last night. Looked afraid yesterday and lost. A real bambi.

Suzuki and Caufield are MILES and MILES better and ahead of him, and he’s on his third year.

And don’t come up with the excuse of his linemates. The guy wouldn’t even be on Suzuki levels if he played with Toffoli and Caufield.

KK debate comes down to his speed. It's all about his speed.

MB will be in a win now mode this offseason. KK will be dealt.. That's for sure.

Maybe for a guy like Monahan... Or a D like Sam Girard. Either way, he's getting dealt (BTW, I like KK a lot).

I think Speed has nothing to do with it. Suzuki isn't faster than KK lol.

Suzuki had a tough go of it as well, and the icing prior to the first goal should’ve never happened had Caufield been properly positioned along the boards, he had plenty of time & space between himself & the VGK Dman at the point

It’s was a learning experience for the young players - every shift, every puck battle and opportunity not capitalized matters in the playoffs.

I suppose it depends on what you mean by a tough go of it.
4 shots (2nd), 4 hits (2nd), 3 take aways (1st), 68% on draws.
Made plays, was physically engaged.
Can’t think of a Knight center who had a better game, overall.

VGK scoring took advantage of Suzuki & KKs inability to kill Knights generating high danger opportunities

When did they take advantage of NS inability to kill the Knights high danger opportunities?
Opening goal by Theodore was off a clean faceoff loss by Suzuki, which was a result of poor board play by Caufield leading to an icing and said faceoff.

Martinez goal was due to poor coverage by Suzuki line

VGK took advantage of inexperience of Suzuki & KK lines

What the hell has Byron done exactly since his goal in game 1 against Toronto? He's not even efficient on the forecheck.
Not much. But he plays on the PK which is currently ranked #1 in the playoffs, so he's more useful than Anderson.

Is there a hole in the ice somewhere that Tatar can hide in? Tatar pls..
Tatar has a much better chance of being effective than Anderson.

He's been benched in the playoffs and he's a UFA. Meaning he needs to show something to get a good contract somewhere. On top of that, it's the team that traded him. Clearly Anderson isn't going to step up so why not at least try to see if Tatar has any heart left in the body?

Ah, so now we’re talking about his line.

1st goal … Shot from the point == high danger score chance?

2nd goal … poor coverage by Suzuki line which included Chiarot as a winger?

Vegas had a great defensive game. We'll have to win games 2-1, some in OT, by playing better defense sd ively if we want to get back into the series. And we should try to get more greasy goals by getting more point shots to the net.

That's Ducharme's game plan. That plan got torpedoed by Theodore's floater from the blueline that Price didn't see.

It's kind of sad, predictable and tragicomic to see people blast Montreal players, forwards especially, for not having an offensive edge, when the entire game plan is based on rock solid defense with offense as the third or fourth consideration.

KK is so outmatched out there. Watching him out there against even better competition is almost embarrassing. He's always a second behind what's going on, and when he does get close to the play he falls down.
He never even got close to making any type of good pass in this game. Both Anderson and Byron created some of their own chances and looked okay. But they clearly need a center who can create for them. And it isnt KK.

Be patient. He is lanky 20 year-old. Do you think he will not get better?

We are not supposed to win this year. It's a bit of a miracle that we made it so far. Build around the new core: Suzuki, KK, Poehling, Caufield, Romanov, Guhle, Ylonen, Tuch, Primeau.

It likely won't happen though. Can MB survive when the team struggles to make the playoffs next season because it is in a much harder division?

Fans here are already crapping on the kids because they are not yet ready. They will force MB to trade away the youth for immediate impact to make the playoffs, just to save his job. MB already fired coaches this season knowing he is next in line if there isn't results.
