Unfortunately, Jeff has completely disappeared again in the second half of a season. Not only struggling to add any offense from the backend which is what we need from him but continuing to play shotty D. I hope he can flip the switch and start creating some offensive opportunities for our forwards. We need it and we know he has it in him.

He carried the team's D and a big part of the offense on his back for a huge part of the season. He's the only half-decent top 3 Dman we have. Give him a break.

He was great for the first 25-30 games and then had gone into hiding. He's here to provide offense from the backend and that has gone dry. He's not even playing well in his own zone to try and make up for it. Unless he's hurt, we need him to step up and start creating some offensive chances.

He's a passenger... When the team does well, he's our best player but when we suck, he doesn't have it in him to bring us out to it.

I still like him but he is what he is.
He's an excellent player when engaged. He just isn't at the moment and we need him to become that guy again pronto.

Fingers crossed its just a bruise or a mild sprain . It didn't look too bad on the replay but hands can be tricky, there's a lot of small bones in there that can break pretty easy.

Even if he can "play" tomorrow there's no point in risking making it worse when you have a guy like Romanov sitting waiting for an opportunity to play. Rest Petry while you can.

The Habs should be laser-focused on finishing this in 4 to get some rest and study Colorado/Vegas who could easily go to 7. We need Petry tommorow.

Tape that up, do whatever they did to Gally’s gloves, we need him tomorrow if we’re going to sweep.

That he came out to play for a bit after the injury I’m hopeful it was all just precautionary for the third.
