Keith like Kane is not being moved nor should be moved

You seem unwilling to grasp that this isn't a video game and that franchise altering trades like that can have generational damage

Also will be great when Keith retires to spite Hawks and we get stuck with recapture penalty

I made the thread because everyone here is saying the opposite of what Colliton said

Yeah, I mean, one minute you’re saying they aren’t playing hard enough, the next they have a great attitude. It’s almost like he regretted the call out and is trying to smooth it over.

Attitude and effort arent the same thing.

If their attitude was as bad as their effort they would be at the breaking stuff in the locker room stage

i would like to add one important part to that formula. it is called the team's talent level. at this point, i just don't see the talent at the key position, that position is a top pairing d-men.

It’d be pretty ballsy, and also dumb, for a rookie coach to come in and slam the attitude of hall of famers and Cup winners.

At this point there’s not much a player, coach, GM, head front office guy can say that won’t be taken with a huge grain of salt IMHO. Ultimately it doesn’t matter what any of these guys say anyway. The results are out on the ice

The chicken vs.egg argument..

Vets stinking cause the rest of the team us bad...the rest of the team is not great But would be better with a lot more help from under performing vets!!!

WE Cann debate the real problem...nut must admit maybe BOTH groups at fault.

Vets certainly no longer "starribg"...And since the old adage that your stars gotta star is true..we are Doomed if we got no stars any longer.

How can you call any of 2 and 7 and 19 and even 88 s "star" anymore after the way they have stunk the last 20 game stretch ?2 and 7 ...all season...Kane hardly scoring any goals over last 17...Ties hot early start then back to hit and miss sporadic with 1 point here or there ...occasionally ..but way too many no production at all nights ?

Sad got off to extremely long bad start then got hot for a few games..now back to sporadic 1 here ,1 there only every couple of games.

Nobody driving a consistent line..You just cannot count on any of them for any offense or precious little ..

SO it is worse than "stars" no longer string. .rather the Reality...we no longer have any stars at all.

Just read somewhere that in the last 9 games the Hawks have had the lead in regulation a grand total of 41 seconds. That is friggin amazing, expecially when you consider the vets on this team with multiple championships. How can you get this bad?

Last in the league as of today so makes sense.

Glad to hear the vets have the right attitude though! Chalk that one up in the win column Stan!

If you think any of the players in that room right now care about anything other than their individual stats you are kidding yourself, this coach is clueless and I am pretty sure doesn’t get the respect of the veterans and even if he does it’s just them being professional, it doesn’t come from them looking at his as their superior or coach or someone who is teaching you the game. JC has to go IMO, he needs another 5 years in the A, it was a bad move to bring him up now, wait till the guy is 40 FFS.
