Eichel gets traded, the surgery thing get resolved (he doesn't get it), and the horribly played 'surgery' trade request now that the actual trade request is out of the bag is completed.

ONe of the reason MTL offered something was part of Brisson. Bergevin almost only trade with Brisson.

Brisson and Bergevin might have a good relationship, but at the end of the day Buffalo will not just give him away to Montreal. He is not a FA. They will still need to pay a very hefty price!!

It is interesting that 3 teams rumored to get Eichel have big Brisson connections: Vegas drafted his son, Ducks have 2nd most Brisson clients with 4 and Hawks the most with 6 clients and Chicago connections.

Who has rumored Chicago to get Eichel? This is the first I've seen of it and what are they trading for him? They don't have their first round pick. They don't have any cap space. Unless they are trading Dach and Kubalik plus something else, how are they going to outbid another team?

Firing Fish and hiring Brisson is a good move by Eichel. Nothing was happening with Fish as Eichel's agent other than an increase in the animosity. New agent, fresh start. Everyone can come to a deal and nobody loses face. I think with Fish the well was pretty much poisoned.
