Could be this season.Meant to add this yesterday, but how long do you think it will be before NHL uniforms start becoming billboards for sponsors?
I hope not though, I am not a fan of it

Me neither. First I would expect even more ads in the ice. I did a quick count of ice ads at Webster Bank Arena last year at a Sound Tigers game and came up with 2 behind the goal lines, 3 in each team's zone, and 6 between the blue lines. And that still didn't make the ice seem as cluttered as it is in Europe.Could be this season.

I hate it, too. The Euro teams look so horrible with the ads and patches all over the sweaters.Me neither. First I would expect even more ads in the ice. The jerseys should be the last thing the NHL sponsors up.
Chiclets this week said potentially ads on helmets
I'd rather a patch on an arm or something if it has to happen. Helmet stickers are gross.Chiclets this week said potentially ads on helmets
As you were saying...Chiclets this week said potentially ads on helmets
If we don't sign him by August, he becomes a free agent. Kind of small, but looks skilled.

We have a problem in the OHL ::sigh::
Yes he played. Limited viewing but he looked real good for a 6th rounder. Skated well , jumped into the offence on a few occasions and seemed to have real good poise with the puck. Could be a surprise down the roadDid Rajaniemi play at all for Finland last night? Didn’t realize there was preliminaries and missed
Man. Watching the USA vs Finland pre-tourny game, Trevor Zegras is just incredible.
Looking forward to the WJC but is it my imagination or do we have a remarkably small number of prospects playing in the tournament?
I wonder where that stacks up with the other teams in the league.
I suppose the devil's advocate would say the better Isle's prospects are overagers.

I answered my own question.
There's a link above from a post on the main board.
We are tied for the third lowest number of prospects in the WJC.
Holmstrom and team Sweden vs Czech on NHLN right now
