Thats less than wat talbot brought. Talbot brought nothing to this team. Cant think of a damn thing worthwhile he did while he was here. I remember that dive last year in the playoffs thats about it. Solid deal just to get rid of Talbot

I know nothing about Caron but I've never really hated Talbot. I was never comfortable with or understood the grief he got from many around here. Like so many players we've seen on the AVs over the years, he found himself playing in a role that was too large but did so because he brought what the coach was looking for night in and out.

Anyone got a decent rundown on what kind of player Caron is/can be?

Talbot is a 4th line guy, but at 1.8M, kinda expensive for that role. Caron isn't very good though.

I'm going to miss Max. I hated on him when he played top 6 minutes but it isn't like he put a gun to Roy's head and told him to play him there. He was a fine 4th liner and a great character. Definitely would have preferred it be Hejda for Caron.
