If the Oilers win the Pacific, does Knoblach get consideration for the Jack Adams?

Consideration? Sure, but it's not like he was the catalyst that made the team so much better. The Oilers had some key players injured and were getting healthier when Knoblach joined the team.

My vote would be for Tocchet.

maybe don't have the consensus best player in the world during his peak and try to coach a team.

After being marked for dead and selling at the deadline, it's gotta be Sullivan's to lose after rallying the Pens back into the playoffs with 5 future hall of famers in Crosby, Malkin, Letang, Karlsson and Drew O'Connor.

he should win it even if the oilers don't win pacific. Not kidding. He's done a good job.

Didn't see much from them last night. Got dominated by a horrendous Flames team and fluked into a win.

Maybe if he is coaching the power play he will earn it. But 5 on 5 they are not good.

Every statistic says they are a very good 5 on 5 team. Congrats on only losing by 2 on a back to back though with a backup goalie in.

Oh and incase you forgot, 4-1 against the best team you will ice for the next 10 years.

I feel like it should be Tocchett.

he's also not a bad choice.

can make a case for tocch because he has a much weaker team than the Oilers. Debor, theres a feel very good choices.

Blue jackets beat avs 4-1
Arizona scores 6 in one period against Vegas, that’s the thing about nhl. These random upsets come out of nowhere.

4th game in 6 nights and on a back-to-back....and still won
they were tired

pretty much every metric says the Oilers are an elite 5 on 5 team

He should probably win it regardless. The Oilers are at the top of the league in almost every team statistical category. It seemed laughable early in the season to even think the Oilers could possibly catch the Canucks. it seemed crazy to think they would even be able to finish in the top 3 in their division at one point.
