Yeah ever since Tepper just went full copy and paste of NCFC's talking points on their MLS bid to justify why Charlotte was good (heavy, heavy emphasis on the youth program of the Raleigh area and the university soccer history of UNC) only to say "who cares about that other city" when they announced their successful bid, my interest in sports within Charlotte have plummeted. The fact that Charlotte will inevitably try and claim the Canes as part of their network when it comes to a MLB bid just annoys me.
to help lower the rate of reaction so less Gas get sent to the atmosphere..Why is he storing gas in his fridge?
Roy cooper has you covered.. he declared one.Can we forget the gas for a minute and address the real shortage?
Bojangles hasn't had chicken supremes available in like a month. It's state of emergency time.

With the semiconductor shortage, you may not be able to find one.I've got just enough gas to drive to a car dealer to buy an electric car. Maybe today is the day to do that.
Oh so we do exist. Seeing a bit of debate around this topic. Must admit, it'd be weird to see the Bulls usurped by a major here. An essential summer standby..so many fond memories made there.
Hey Charlotte, we're not one of your suburbs. We're not even twin cities. You're doing your thing, we're doing ours, and we're both doing it well. We would love for you to support the Canes the way we support the Panthers, but don't try to claim them as your own. It's our team, and you can pry it from our cold, dead hands.
Edit: Oh wait, that writer is from London and probably doesn't have a connection to either city. Never mind.
I was thinking I'd say the Canes represent Charlotte in the same way Manchester United represents London.Just comment in the article that Manchester City is one of those cute little London soccer teams.
uncertain messages about how they *might* have it up and running this weekend doesn't inspire me with confidence.
If they did that in Canada it could kill someone because they might mistake it for milk. For sure but not gonna lie I laughed my ass off at the video that forced that tweet. I mean she f***ing double bagged the gas.
At the beginning of all this crap the very first item people horded was toilet paper. These idiots in Kentucky and Indiana are all rushing to the gas stations today despite the fact that WE AREN'T EVEN ON THE SAME PIPELINE.
Is it just me or does anyone else want to scream with venemous rage on a daily basis because of how fricking goddamned stupid human beings are?

Wasn’t that comment a shot at Atlanta? IIRC that was the consensus around here by folks who know MLS better than I do.
That is what was reported from the Hurricanes twitter (when they said their 'hellos' to the club after they were selected to MLS).
I'm not sure I buy that, which is disappointing to someone like me who tries to "bridge the gap" between the two cities, but whatever. Personally I'm probably not going to be a fan of this MLS team, I'm already dreading my tax dollars going to support Teppers (net worth $15 billion) effort to build a new stadium for either that or the Panthers.
As someone who has no interest in MLS (yeah, bite me), I was happy to see Charlotte get the team. God knows what taxpayer bondoggle would be involved in building a stadium in Raleigh. That is what was reported from the Hurricanes twitter (when they said their 'hellos' to the club after they were selected to MLS).

Aren’t they building one in Raleigh? As someone who has no interest in MLS (yeah, bite me), I was happy to see Charlotte get the team. God knows what taxpayer bondoggle would be involved in building a stadium in Raleigh.
