He said he doesn’t believe in contracts but if Waddell wanted one he could have one, and now he has one.

Before someone comes in to try and disprove this, please note that there was an article on NHL.com last week where Dundon specifically said if Waddell wanted a contract, he would give him one. Like, those were his exact quoted and printed words.
