Markstrom was amazing tonight. We definitely deserved this one. This makes back to back games where the other goalie was just a level above of ours.

I hate that drill. Give us 5 4V4, then 5 3v3; I guarantee that most games will be resolved before then. 3 on 3 is fun, shootout is garbage.

lots of shots on net =/= equal playing well. it just means shooting a lot more. they definitely played better than us this game. markstrom was a wall as well which didn't help

Nah, just reasons. Seriously, all year the guys shoot down low and it's easy as hell to stop. You'd think one of our guys would elevate, but nah.

Meh, sometimes you lose games where you carry the play but have some costly gaffes, this was that.

So glad we have a #1 goalie who can concentrate in a game where he isn't seeing the puck much. Smith loses this one 6-3.

I was hoping Mangiapane was going to shoot 3rd.
And dammit why can't Gaudreau score on a breakaway.
You'd think he'd be shooting in the shootout since he's our best player but I can see why he doesn't, he's not finishing on breakaways.

Markstrom stole that man, 2 games in a row we've ran into a hot goalie.

Just want to point out we haven't lost back to back games in regulation since mid November against San Jose and Montreal, so at least we're not going consecutive games without picking up any points.

Fun fact we're 7-0-2 on HNIC, not so fun fact those 2 OTL's are both to the Canucks.
