I most certainly wanted to do a full kitchen remodel, but that doesn't make financial sense since I'll likely want a new house when/if my girlfriend moves in. Instead, I'm refinishing the cabinets, am installing a new vent hood, and will be getting matching GE appliances. The cabinets are taking way longer than I expected.

I already have a replacement for that shitty microwave cart I have. I'll also be replacing the flooring. The backsplash certainly isn't my favorite, but that's far too much work for me to do to replace. New countertops are also on the list.

I also had a new outlet installed so I could move the fridge to an area with more room. That set me back $200, but considering they had a lot of issues with my basement and so on, I got my money's worth.

But thanks to HBO Max I did watch Judas and the Black Messiah. It already looked interesting on the small trailer I saw, but LaKeith Stanfield is in it and he's probably one of my favorite actors right now.

The movie is based on a true story that I briefly heard about some time ago (in a documentary I believe?) and meant to look into it more. I never got around to it, but I sure will now.

4/5 stars for me.

The movie is a difficult watch in that Lakeith needed therapy after playing his role and understandably.

@CascadiaPenguin looks like my beer turned out okay? Still needs to carbonate for a week+. Since I got a messed up OG, I have no clue what ABV this is. My recalculations put it near 7%.

The nice thing about this setup is that I can still take these sticks down if I want to use them, but they work well as a decoration IMO. I'm going to add a bar or some sort of table below them because I think I put them a little too high, but I like it so far.

BOTW is the best game i've played in the last decade. You will not be disappointed. There's a Skyward Sword HD game coming out this summer that looks very nice, too.

I've logged 200 hours on Three Houses and I feel like I can easily log another 200 hours on it.

Same with BOTW. I like Three Houses more but BOTW is also a gem.

BOTW is the best game i've played in the last decade. You will not be disappointed. There's a Skyward Sword HD game coming out this summer that looks very nice, too.

I got a job offer but it's in the same field just a different area

Decided to decline it. Didn't want to lose my seniority and benefit level to start over somewhere else

Id rather change my entire career field focus than just change the walls I work in

Plus, I know all the tricks and shitty people where i am, I don't know ANYONE at the other place

Still I kinda feel like a crummy person for turning down an offer
