haven’t seen anything about him being officially recalled yet like we did with Protas and Alexeyev, but his SHL team was eliminated.

For those who have seen a lot of Bears games, how has Leason looked?

He is improving. Took him time to adjust in major junior as well. I could see him being far more dominant next season.

Nice burst from Leason on his goal at 3:11 of the highlight video from last night. No idea if the defensemen he smoked are any good but his stride looked good.

Anyone have any idea if Gersich has potential to make an NHL roster or is he pretty much an AHL lifer at this point?

Also, I've been wondering if McMichael's solid year in Hershey made them feel better about trading Vrana.

McMichael now one goal back in the AHL rookie scoring race. He's got the most shots among AHL rookies (85 with Kaliyev at 82 with seven more games played). Third place has a mere 66. 85 is good for eighth league-wide.

Gersich is at his ceiling IMO.

Leason has come on nicely....I was worried earlier this season.

This. Gersich hasn’t done much to separate himself from the pack outside of penalty killing. I’d still think a healthy Malenstyn outplays him for a roster spot.

Leason has had a good stretch. But, is it because he is playing with Protas again and those two had great chemistry in juniors. Leason has done a good job PKing though this year
