Hopefully Shepard gets a game or two to really showcase himself. Fucale and Copley had a rough stretch of games over the past few weeks.

I watched about a dozen highlights of him scoring goals, so on HF that qualifies me to say that he's going to be a top pairing, all-star, offensive d-man, right?

I could see a world where AA comes to Washington ahead of Fever at this point. Hoping one of them will be a regular next year. Depends on Chara, Orlov, expansion, or trade.

Frankly, they both should be in the line-up in the next two years. We need cap space and some youth.

Which is why I’d like to part with Siegs. Fever and AA are better. And then Dillon and Orlov.

Siegenthaler is just as easily cost controlled as Fehervary and Alexeyev since he will still be an RFA, even though he has arb rights, it will be hard for him to build an arb case since he hasn't played at all this year. Parting with him would be a gigantic mistake considering he's the only one of these three young left shot D who has any NHL experience, inching towards 100 GP. He's also in my opinion the best D partner for John Carlson of any of the left shot D in the orginization. Alexeyev has played exactly ZERO NHL games. Fehervary has played six regular season and two playoff games. So I don't get how you could objectively prove that either of them are better than Siegenthaler at this point in time. They may end up being better over the long term but at this juncture that's just not a true statement. The Caps should be looking to get all three into the NHL lineup on a regular basis as soon as next year and should not be looking to part with any of them.

Not that long ago, there was a season where the Caps used in excess of 10 players along the blue line due to injuries. With the possibility of Chara not returning and losing a dman in the expansion draft, you don't want to deplete your d corps for next season. This is why it was an especially smart move for BMAC to re-up TVR.

This, we have been insanely lucky, health wise, among our D Corps this year. Its unusual, it shouldn't be expected as normal. I believe Shultz dental work and Orlov's Covid thingy were the only outages?

Protas first point, secondary assist, but a nice move with the puck from behind the net for others to clean up.

Graber playing well enough to continue to earn a sweater. They could have sent him to SC but they sent Nanne instead

For those who have seen a lot of Bears games, how has Leason looked?

I presume Protas and Leason are playing together again. They had great chemistry in Prince Albert.

Go Protas! We're looking dangerous this year with AA and Nardella on the way back to town soon too hopefully.

Hershey’s Wednesday game postponed due to covid issues with Lehigh Valley. Lehigh and Binghamton have been the two teams that’s can’t seem to get their shit together this season
