Why not just change up 1 line?
IMO the 4th. line doesn't need a change.
Add an offensive player to the 3rd. line.
Leave Ennis on his natural side.
Petan was a PPG player in the AHL at 22, give him an opportunity to be his best on an offensive line.
If Brown went down would they not have to kill penalties?

Leafs can kill penalties with the following forward units:

Hyman-Goat

Kapanen-Marner

Marleau-Tavares

Brown is not some elite PKer where when he is on ice opposition never scores goals.

I do agree with Petan/Moore shuould be on the line with Nylander; we have offensive depth and we are not even using it and it is frustrating

Every team have young players who get better.
Every team have defenders playing on the 1st. pairing.

The trouble is team fans have vested interests which aren't always broad enough to understand how good all team are, and overrate and underrate their own.

It’s about playing the best lineup and rewarding guys who deserve it
Ennis has played a lot better than Brown
And guaranteed Moore will come out of the lineup before Brown

yes. It's weird to pretend the time the 4th line or 3rd defensive pairing plays doesn't count. Our 4th line won the game against Buffalo for us last time, and Ennis had the game winning goal

ACC has to be the worst rink to play in. Hyman after the isle game says "It's fun to play in a game like that instead of a game that's quiet". I bet all the players hate playing at home. It's a morgue.

And let's not forget even with our team playing how their playing it's been said play off tickets gonna start at 6-700 each going up to 1k$ if we win a round or two
