Smart move by the team to load up on potential upside-- perhaps the develop with the Dogs with more playing time.

No idea on the Hidi deal--he's an OA.. probably more for veteran presence.

Of course, whether Burnett develops this talent properly is another question..

A little tidbit on Luke Kutkevicius - good skater, can provide offense but mostly played on 3rd or 4th line this year. The Steelheads were really high on him as he was a 2nd round pick. Great pick up for the Bulldogs going forward!

Wow big couple of days for the dogs. Extra minutes now for some players. Team looks nicely poised for a run in two years. Lets hope the boys stay positive and engaged, it could be a tough second half of the season. We cant accuse management of standing pat. We addressed the goalie issue and added some draft picks for later. Anyone think we were winners or losers? Im on the winners side! Go dogs! :handclap:

I think it will be a long second half. We all knew that it was time to rebuild in Hamilton and the fans are prepared. As far as playing time goes I wonder now with Marchment and Harper gone if Burnett will actually treat Strome and Enty as actual top 6 forwards now or not.

As far as winners/losers comments i think we come out as winners picking up future possible players and picks for the players we would of lost for nothing in the off-season.

maybe Canadian Game or rcduthie can give a bit of a answer to this question..

With the Hidi trade i believe that puts us at 49 players on our reserve list. With 14 picks currently could change before Mondays last deadline until end of aprils trading window for picks only, however

with Trumbla, st. aubin, martin, crocker, mcjannett, girduckis and Bauer that makes up the 7 spots or half of the spots for 2016 picks plus the Hidi OA opens up is it safe to say with the 14 picks and the 1 import spot we have open so 15 possible new players in the off-season coming up, that between tonight to Monday (deadline) and Monday (Post deadline) until the end of the season.

That would be up to the players as to which ones will remain on the reserve list as they would have to make up for 8 more players to be moved or cut if its either signed players or players from 2015 draft class that the management doesn't think are ready.

Hidi---Petti---Cramarossa

Fox---Laishram---Luff

I have a feeling these will be the top 6 forwards. Which 2 would you move down to put in the rooks?

I'm not saying 2 players just maybe one of them...

Hidi (based from what one London Knight fan said..

Really hard worker, really good skater as well, because of numbers game he played mostly on fourth line duty, never know what is potential would be if placed on a second or third line of a weaker team, we sure liked is work ethic and team play.

Maybe try Strome with Petti and cram or Enty with Petti and Cram whom ever clicks better..

if Hidi is on the top line

Hidi-Petti-Cram
Fox - Lash - Luff
Strome/Colella - Saigeon - Enty/Krassey
Strome/Colella - Kutkevicius - Ent/Krassey

With Mizzi and Mendonca as extra forwards

The only thing that scares me about Saigeon is the -23 in 35gp

Mendonca is on a Junior B card with Thorold so his number of games is limited.
