Were you born when the Habs last won in San Jose on Nov 23, 1999?

Bergevin that kidder, quoted this week that he wants more consistency from the team. Quite the comedian. Couldn’t find a better backup than Aunty to contribute to the consistency?
Sure and i want my Hyundai to run like a Ferrari.

Sharks plan going in was to shoot at the Habs chest logo. Niemi hopefully has played his last game of his life. That was painful to watch. Very fast game that the boys were competitive but the goalie sunk the ship.

Really? You're gonna blame him? He was in position to break up the play and he did, but it was a bad bounce.

Not a good play by Thompson and Kulak on the fourth goal, but you can hardly expect to be perfect. And you have to be, when you play without goaltending.

I know it's a bad bounce. It remains the GWG.

I love Danault. He plays a tough position for his talent

Glad I did not stay up to watch this.... solid 8.5 hours of sleep trumps the craptasic nam nams in nets montreal Crapadiens.....

:towel:go well rested!

still puzzles me how Price sits against the hardest of the 3 teams we are playing.... I guess they are embracing the Censored word????

Such a missed opportunity last night... now we have to hope to hang on to the 8th and last spot... A win last night and we were in the mix for #7 spot and avoiding TB in the first round....

A new vet goalie in the summer or the battle of Lindgren-McNiven and may the best goalie win.

Obviously Price is not 100% healthy or else he gets the start last night and tonight. There's no way in my mind Julien asked him to sit down down for such a critical game.

Seems pretty simple to me. You have a 75-85% chance Niemi is going to lose you the game. You cant risk losing both games, so they take their chances with Niemi against the Sharks, a team they are historically bad against, on a night that 2 teams you are battling with are playing each other.

Seems pretty simple to me. You have the chance to have arguably the best goalie in the league and you're in a situation where every point count. You ride Price for both games.

Feels like the Sharks are the Undertaker and their arena is Wrestlemania. We're going for a 20 or 21 year streak here aren't we?

Kotka will be Brock Lesnar. Now all we need is for Runner to shoop an Eagle head on Brock.

There are no easy ones but I like our chances.

Now, which forward(s) will be taken out of the lineup, given that we're coming off a loss?

We always look completely gassed the 3rd games in 4nights so play everybody that didnt play yesterday!!!!Price for Niemi, Rielly for Kulak Kotka for Weal Hudon/Peca for Weise and put Weal on the 4th line for Thompson.

Who cares? Two pathetic teams and one team you haven’t beaten in 20 years. He shouldn’t make a difference in any of the games so rest him for the final tough stretch.

Best outcome is 4 out of 6 points and 99% of us thought that when this trip started. Win tonight

Agree. MUST win. We need to win all the games vs eliminated teams and 2-3 more wins vs tougher teams and we make the playoffs. (ANA, DET, CHI, PHI, BUF, FLA)

Seriously we could very well missed the playoffs because of poor backup goaltending.

I remember the game vs TB on Dec 29, vs Fla recently and yesterday.... that's 6 pts

At least there aren’t any back to back games in there.

The last 2 games Niemi started I COULDNT BELIEVE Claude Julien wouldn't just ride Price until the end of the season. When you're in this tight of a spot for the playoff and you know the last 20 games of the season are gonna be crucial, you simply do not have a choice. If we had a 45 years old Luongo or an average guy like Markstrom then I would understand. But Carey Price, 30 years old, $10.5M per year? You gotta ride him.
