All are very amazing rookies. But Kotkaniemi is going to be the best forward at NHL Draft 2018. The best player? I don't know, because Dahlin is Dahlin. But Kotkaniemi is special too, no doubt about that.

I've been happy with us drafting Kotka right from the beginning. But if anyone would have made that comment at the beginning of the season, I would have laughed in their face. He is a special kid. If his confidence continues and he bulks up a little. The sky is definitely the limit for him.

Great on the third pair. Can move the puck, skate, smart defensivly. I am sure there were times we were mad at him, but overall he looks great on the 3rd pair with Benn. Def a new NHL type D. Might not put up a ton of points but can skate, pass, and shoot.

I don't know how much longer Weber will be a top tier dman in this new, faster NHL. But he certainly fills so many needs on this team right now. Thinking that Weber may decline soon, makes me even more want to go out and get Marcus Johansson and Derrick Brassard by the TDL and ice the following 4 lines:
