Svech getting worked again at the start of the play. He looked a lot better to start the year but now he just doesn't seem to want it. Always getting beat to pucks or forced off of them. Hopeful that he can contend for a spot next year but our winger depth is looking like a log jam ahead.

ya he seems to be a low energy or depressed hockey player . and thats one thing about the pro's is without the big motor a guy cant keep up to the pace , but in jrs he can look great . i always look for motor in a player

Yes he is. I was told that he will not be back in the Griffins lineup until mid-late January. He is skating somewhere in Detroit. Hand injury (same one he injured last season). Not much else to report on.

Rasmussen has now been sidelined for 6 weeks. 12th November was last game he played.

Fractured bones usually take 8 weeks to heal and returning timetable is mid-january?

Yeah, I remember that one. But last year in Detroit, he got smoked and missed the rest of the season. I didn't think that was a hand injury.

Add Dominic Shine to the Griffins injury list as he will not be in the lineup tonight vs Chicago. Tangradi still out as well. Nagle in goal tonight for GR. Fireworks after the game.

I have heard that Rasmussen is going on the road trip Jan 3-8th. I am not sure if there is any truth to that or not though but it could be a sign that he is close.

According to twitter feed of Bob Kaser, Rasmussen is on the trip but still a week or two away from playing. Tangradi & Shine will likely play this weekend.
