So why isn't Hirose in Grand Rapids?
Red Wings wanting him to start his off-season program early to get him ready for training camp next season (sort of like what Bertuzzi went through last season).
So why isn't Hirose in Grand Rapids?
Have they clinched yet? What are their clinch scenarios?Griffins definitely look off. Powerplay looks terrible as well
The Griffins’ magic number to clinch a playoff berth stands at one point. Grand Rapids can secure both a playoff bid and home-ice advantage for the best-of-five Central Division Semifinals with at least a point tonight.Have they clinched yet? What are their clinch scenarios?
Thanks. They should have clinched a while ago, haven't been playing well recently. The Griffins’ magic number to clinch a playoff berth stands at one point. Grifs lost the last 7. Bringing up all of the players for stints in Detroit kinda upset their strideThanks. They should have clinched a while ago, haven't been playing well recently.

An IA loss would let us back into the PO's tooThat's... crazy. I looked it like when there was 8 games left, that they only need 1-2 wins to clinch the spot and that comes easily.
And it's going on the last game.

Now that's a big yikes.Rybar gave up 3 goals on 3 shots in under 2 minutes
Yup. It's 3-0 Chicago right now, so looking good.Do they still make it if Manitoba loses in regulation? It's 3 am here and I can't seem to figure it out.
Grand Rapids clinches a playoff berth on Saturday with:
(a) a point at Milwaukee, OR
(b) an Iowa loss (reg/OT/SO) vs. Rockford, OR
(c) a Manitoba loss (reg/OT/SO) at Chicago
