Red Wings wanting him to start his off-season program early to get him ready for training camp next season (sort of like what Bertuzzi went through last season).

Sateri back in goal for GR tonight as the Griffins play their last regular season home game vs the Manitoba Moose. One point (Griffins make it to OT, or win tonight, or Iowa loses at home to Chicago) clinches a playoff spot and 2nd place in the Central Division. Megan is the vet scratch tonight and Ford had minor ankle surgery earlier this week, will be out up to 2 weeks.

If GR clinches, Game 1 & Game 2 of the 1st round of the playoffs will start in GR next Wed & Thur night. Team will officially announce it when GR clinches, but that was what I was told by Griffins staff on Wed night's game.

Grand Rapids clinches a playoff berth on Saturday with:
(a) a point at Milwaukee, OR
(b) an Iowa loss (reg/OT/SO) vs. Rockford, OR
(c) a Manitoba loss (reg/OT/SO) at Chicago

Griffins really need to pull it together as a team though if they're going to do anything in the playoffs.
