Total cap space: 5.482mil$

Getzlaf and Perry are our go to guy, the team will go as far as they take us, we like the addition of Tambellini on that line, it adds a natural shooter. we also like our 2nd line, Hudler we hope will rebound and Connolly is ultra skilled with the puck to find a scorer like Ryan. 3rd line has some scoring punch with Lupul and tow very good dependable guy, the 4th line is solid aswell. Peter Holland and Kyle Palmieri are two players that could make things interesting with a good camp.

On defence, we took the Komisarek gamble. We feel with the right team and partner, Mike can be a effective and valuable player. We think Visnovsky is the type of defenceman he needs and we expect him to give us good hockey. We have 6 very good defenceman, a good mix of veteran, youth, offensive and defensive defenceman. We are exicited to have those 6 guys back there defending one of the best goaltender in the league, Jonas Hiller.

We have a very young team but we also expect to compete for a playoff spot in the east. Richards, Gagne, Hannan, Bieksa, Gigeure will all add some nice leadership to the team. We also have a stacked prospects pool. Richards, Gagne, Landeskog, Schenn, Couturier, Olesz, Dvorak, Kulikov, Bieksa and Carle should lead the offense and will be counted on. we feel with Hannan and Gudbransson we should have a pretty good shutdown pair to defend against other teams and eat big minutes. Gigeure will help mentor Markstrom and should be solid.

We have an amazing top line, the Swedish trio, and 3 very good forwards on our 2nd line, including one of the best 2 way centers in the game. Our 3rd line can also chip in while playing a good two way game, and our 4th line can hold their own as well. We doubt we'll lose too many faceoffs with Malhotra, Kesler, and Belanger.

Our defense is probably just as strong as before, with Ed Jovanovski to replace Sami Salo, and Steve Eminger to replace Andrew Alberts on the bottom pairing with Keith Ballard.

Roberto Luongo and Cory Schneider are a strong tandem in net as always.
