We have an amazing top line, the Swedish trio, and 3 very good forwards on our 2nd line, including one of the best 2 way centers in the game. Our 3rd line can also chip in while playing a good two way game, and our 4th line can hold their own as well. We doubt we'll lose too many faceoffs with Malhotra, Kesler, and Belanger.

Our defense is probably just as strong as before, with Ed Jovanovski to replace Sami Salo, and Steve Eminger to replace Andrew Alberts on the bottom pairing with Keith Ballard.

Roberto Luongo and Cory Schneider are a strong tandem in net as always.
I'm surprised you actually fit under the cap but nice job with your team.

Nashville has completed a trade, sending F Olli Jokinen to the Columbus BJ's for F Samuel Pahlsson. GM Nowitzski was quoted as saying, "We feel that Sammy brings a more defensively-minded approach to our 3rd line, along with JP Dumont and David Moss"

Capitals sign Kuznetsov to ELC

"The Washington Capitals are very pleased to sign Kuznetsov to an entry level contract and get him playing in the NHL. He was one of the best players in the world juniors this season and has been playing some really great hockey in the KHL. We fully expect him to be a top-6 forward for our hockey club."

How the mighty have fallen: at the 2009 deadline Coyotes traded Olli Jokinen and a 2009 3rd (Josh Birkholz) to Calgary for Matthew Lombardi, Brandon Prust, and Calgary's 2010 1st (which turned out to be Brandon Gormley).

Two years later Olli nets Sami Pahlsson. :shakehead

Then I used Lombardi to get Jokinen, Iginla, and David Moss:handclap:
