Hughes has been awful defensively.

Maybe because neither are the caliber of Markstrom. Can’t hold these two to that same light.

The scale shouldn’t be Vezina caliber goaltending or give up 7 goals. Canucks defence is next level bad. Tanev was clearly covering for a lot of Hughes turnovers.

You can think what you want, that’s the nice thing about opinions, imo The goaltending has not been fine this year, sorry, maybe the first few games they did not have any blame, Turnovers or not they have been getting completely lit up since.
