Are you kidding me? You're seriously going to edit that down to exclude the word "Perhaps" and expect me not to notice?

That's just bush league. GTFO

Use whatever word you like. None of them will change the fact you threw out an accusation and have been called on it multiple times only to conveniently ignore it every time. Not only do you ignore it but you go on to be an ass about it and insult tons of people in the process.

Maybe if you don't want to be punched you shouldn't throw jabs?

I wonder if he'll get the reference?

It would be a shame if Sutter or Staal happens to get their hands up in a scrum against the Leafs cause I guarentee you the players havent forgotten.

Hopefully the Leafs are still focused on revenge. It worked so well this past game. Meanwhile, the Canes will gladly take the 2 points if the Leafs want to concentrate on these vendettas instead of winning. They've got a playoff push to make.

I haven't accused him of anything that wasn't completely obvious in that video. You've simply chosen to read an insulting subtext into the matter.

I mean, I get it. Pride and team bias dictate that you need to find a villain in all this. Every neutral observer confirms that Gleason was in the right, so that's kind of a dead end. Other recent posters have tried to make it about Staal and Sutter, and one even tried to make it about Americans in general. But the easy thing is to attack another fan, as a vicarious acting-out of what you wish would happen to Gleason. It all comes back to bruised ego. Childish, but understandable.

Here's a thought: if Kulemin still has a beef to settle, why doesn't HE fight Gleason? It's not like either of them is a regular fighter, and Kulemin is the larger man. I know the Orr fanbois are cheering for a WWE scenario, but there's an obvious fix here... which probably won't happen due to the size-of-balls differential involved.

The refs are neutral observers and they kicked Gleason out of the game for the punch.

Give it up, is this the first fight a 'Cane has won or something?

A game misconduct is automatic when a player is determined to be the "aggressor", i.e. the only one to drop his gloves and throw a punch. They simply called it by the book from what they knew had happened.

The more telling thing is that the league declined to issue any supplementary discipline, which they most certainly would have done if they thought Gleason had crossed the line.

I guess I must be dreaming that you have specifically insulted an entire fanbase on multiple occasions. Do I really need to quote you again?

Yes that's why ONE person got a fighting penalty and ONE person got ejected from a game. "Every neutral observer"...

Please do. You seem pretty worked up over this, maybe quoting me a bunch of times will help you calm down.

Yeah, I just addressed that in the post immediately above yours.

Wow.

The KHL assesses a misconduct penalty to the first player who drops the gloves. They do a lot of gloved punching because they don't want the penalty. Same in the Olympics. Same in pretty much every Euro league.

Again, wow. You went right to the nationalist stereotypes when you saw an opening there.

Pretty sure you aren't in the Leafs locker room, bud. All this bluster about Orr or any other Leaf getting revenge is being pulled directly out of your posterior.

Wow, you went right to the nationalist stereotypes when you saw an opening there. Kulemin has no history of this but you took the first opportunity to take a shot at his character and the perceived lack of toughness in Russian hockey.

Pretty sure? Or? One thing seen throughout this thread is you don't own your words.
You say Kulemin has a habit of basically b*****ing out, yet haven't provided any evidence to support this. NTM the fact your telling me I'm the source of this Colton Orr revenge plot but really if you knew anything about how this works, its a mere formality. Orr is paid to defend his teamates and hold everyone accountable for their actions. Whether Gleason and Orr fight is still to be seen, but I can guarentee if Gleason takes another questionable shot at an Leaf player, he wont have a choice.

edit: Matt Cooke wasn't suspended either, so that means its clean, right? Depends where you sit. Either way, it was questionable at best....and for that, Cooke knew Shawn Thornton was going to have something to say. An unlikely pair, but Cooke knew he needed to answer for what he did...Hope Gleason is prepared to do that same....

Your problem is you do too much typing and not enough reading. I have already explained precisly what I meant by "Russian-style" and it had nothing to do with toughness or the lack thereof.

You say Kulemin has a habit of basically b*****ing out, yet haven't provided any evidence to support this.

Again, reading more carefully would do you a lot of good.

LOL @ your "guarantee".

Orr has been on IR since getting splattered by Parros. Indeed, it remains to be seen whether he challenges Gleason to fight in the bus lot... if he can even remember where that is after having his eggs scrambled.

Smoke screen all you want, your little pot shots didn't fool anyone relevant. Your comments were ignorant regarding somene you have little to no knowledge about. You claimed he has a habit of this, yet haven't provided anything to support these claims. Also, whether you want to admit it or not, you insulted an entire country.

Orr got splattered by Parros? Really? Serves me right for trying to talk about hockey with someone who has never seen snow.

I wouldn't go to India and pretend to be a cricket expert, where did you get ur balls?

Maybe you need to calm down a little bit and re-read the thread. Seems you're getting worked up over perceived insults rather than real ones.

Yes, really.

Exactly one punch landed in that fight, and it knocked Orr out indefinitely. Brain = scrambled. I don't think we'll be hearing from Mr. Orr tonight.

Man, if your really not gonna own your comments on here, then why bother? I've read a few of your posts and your quite often wayy off base or just saw something comepletely different then everyone else. I was at that game, sitting less then 30 ft from the fight, did the punch connect, yea, kinda...not really flush....It was him falling face first with 220+ lb Parros driving it into the ice.

Irrelivent though. Once again, you can't answer for previous comments, so up comes the diversion.

No matter how many times myself, and other posters call you out, you avoid owning your posts.

Pretty much as expected. Gleason dropped the gloves with the first guy who challenged him, a fight happened, then the game went on.

Oh, and thanks for running away from our last head to head we had a few days back. Pathetic.

Good for Gleason. Didn't back down against a guy out of his weightclass and did what was needed to avoid any further retribution. If he avoids the fight, then perhaps someone else gets hurt, but he stepped up and took it like a man.

I think this whole incident has been blown out of proportion and it's good that it's done and over with. Leafs got what they needed most and that was 2 points.
