You guys are just now realizing what you have with Kessel. I realized years ago what he's about. Hope you find solace in 30 meaningless regular season goals.
I'll take Staal, Gleason and a scrub winger over Staal, Kessel and a scrub defenseman every time.

Probably because all 3 used there brain and common sense unlike Leaf fans who think it was the dirtiest thing since McSorley used Brashears head like a tee ball.
The Leafs season just keeps getting worse....and I love it.
for what Gleason did.
Interesting that the officials called it exactly as most Leafs fans see it.

That doesn't mean that they are right. That is just what they called in the spur of the moment. Gleason should have got 5 for roughing not fighting.

Based on 100 years of how calls have been made, they got it right.
How does one get "5 for roughing"? I'll have to check the rule book but I can't think of a single instance where I've seen that.

Not being a twit but for reference sake, it's "sow". The reference is to farming as in you sow seeds and reap a crop.

Ok then, 2 mins for roughing or 4 mins for roughing. (or even better, no penalty)

(b) A Minor penalty shall be assessed any player who, in the Referee's judgement, is guilty of unnecessary rough play. Only when injury results from an infraction to this rule may a Major penalty be assessed.
(Note 1):If the penalty is for an infraction after the whistle, "Roughing after the whistle", should be recorded and announced.
(Note 2): In Minor and Female Hockey, any player including a goaltender, who is assessed a Major penalty for roughing shall also be assessed a Game Misconduct penalty.
(Note 3): The Major penalty for roughing is not to be confused and utilized in lieu of the Major penalty and Game Misconduct penalty for fighting

Is the latter quote a play on words? If not, it's wrong. The phrase is 'You reap what you sow' which actually originated more likely as 'As you sow so shall you reap' meaning - you get back whatever you put into something.
But your Example- line above is perfect. In the use of 'sew' and in the statement of fact.
