He insulted an entire country, yet you talk of how only people with snow can be fans of hockey and India with cricket? wow, what an ignorant child you are.

Oh, and thanks for running away from our last head to head we had a few days back. Pathetic.

Pathetic?

Of the last 50 of your posts, 39 are in threads directly involving the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Now that's pathetic.

Pretty much the opposite of tarheel happened last night.

Gleason did have to step up and was owned, expectedly so but good on him for going there. Also, the only time I noticed Gleason that game.

Kessel, while not registering a point, made the Carolina defense look like a porous AHL defense while credit to Cam Ward for some of the saves he made to make the outcome much closer than it could have been.

At the end of they day, the Leafs exacted revenge in the appropriate away starting with Rosehill and ending with a dominant performance physically and on the scoreboards.

Props to Gleason. He didn't have to step up last night but he did anyway. From his actions and what he's said on the issue he sounds like a stand up guy.

Yes, he did insult an entire country. The same as it would be an insult for me to make derogatory comments about something......then in the same breath proclaim them to be " the American way"

Where did I say people can only be a fan of hockey if they have snow? I'll be very interested to see your responce to this one.

If you read my quote, it was, to the word " I wouldn't go to India and pretend to be a cricket expert".....Which I wouldn't. Point being, the person I directed that comment at seems to have hockey knowledge purely from a spectators pov, which is fine....... people who have played at a high level have a greater understanding of this.... Funny too, cause if you read the convo, I was right. I said I don't fault Gleason for what he did, cause its a tough spot....but it was questionable nonetheless and he would have to answer to it next game....which he did. He manned up, and its done...just like I said. Its part of the code. Tarheelhockey is clearly not aware of this code.

Oh, and yea I "ran away from our last head to head" Its a crazy concept, but some people have lives outside the internet.

Another poster pointed it out, but the majority of your recent posts are on the Leafs forum, again, whats pathetic?

 Wow, I'm glad someone necro'ed this so I could see the posts I missed... after I assumed we had all gone our separate ways.

It's really not my fault that you can't comprehend that Russian hockey has gloves-on fights. I have no idea how pointing that out is supposed to "insult an entire country", as if 99.999% of Russians even give a **** what is said here.

LOL... last week I was involved in a hockey brawl that ended with 5 local police officers writing citations for the instigators. Does that bump up my street cred with the internet hockey police?

It was the context which you made the comment. If you don't understand that, then I'm sorry. I've read some of your recent posts and it seems several sensible people refuse to debate with you as well because you post over and over again without really addressing it when your called out and blatantly wrong. You will reply but only to divert the convo away from the ridiculous and uneducated comments you've made prior.

And no, your beer league gives you no credibility. You claimed Gleason had nothing to do and owed nobody nothing.......however, anyone who knows the code is gonna tell you, Gleason was gonna have to answer to it whether he liked it or not......it was questionable at the time, and he knew he was gonna have to drop em with one of the Leaf tough guys.....

As I said before, I wasn't a fan of the punch, I don't think Gleason needed to, everyone in the league knew what was gonna happen if Timmy dropped his gloves.....at the same time I've been there, and feel for him when you make a split decision in hockey on emotion and then hurt someone.....

All I was trying to make you understand...... When you do something questionable of that nature, you better be prepared to back it up. Although Gleason didn't think he was wrong, he understands the code and if it was his teamate, he would want revenge. If Rosehill did the same thing to *insert cane here* and Gleason wanted redemption, Rosie would give it. These big bad boys have a lot of respect for eachother for the most part.

I'm sorry you are unable to simply read and comprehend sentences without assuming a sinister agenda.

I bet you can't name one.

You claimed Gleason had nothing to do and owed nobody nothing......

Really? Why don't you quote where I said that.

Your problem, extending back several pages now, is that you're pretty much seeing what you want to see. Dial down the self-righteousness a little.

Your problem is debating or arguing with people when you clearly have little knowledge of the matter. I'd pick my fights better, if I were you.
