How you became a Jackets' fan: College roommate was business manager for Ohio Bobcat Club Team. He hooked me on hockey going to Bird Arena in Athens for OU hockey which was an event even though it was club hockey. Chicken wire instead of plexiglass back then. Lots of fun “chatting” with visiting players who got into the atmosphere and turned hockey into fight night. After college, I would visit my roommate when he worked for Adirondack Red Wings in Glen Falls. Doug Maclean was their GM then and Jamie Pushor was one of their players. Then my roommate worked a couple years for Blackhawks and would get me logo items and tickets. Anyway, his enthusiasm for hockey and the fun of OU hockey games hooked me on the sport. Went to many Chill games and we are Day One PSL holders for CBJ.

Favorite Jackets Player: Current favorite CBJ player is Texier.

Favorite NON Jackets Player: Don’t really care for non-cbj players.

Favorite piece of Blue Jacket paraphernalia (souvenir): I have cbj stuff. But not really into the stuff thing. If I picked something, maybe my autographed 8x10 of Rick Nash when he scored under his leg goal vs St Louis many years ago.

Hockey Jerseys in Wardrobe: Gave up buying custom jerseys after getting a Steve Mason jersey (which actually I won). But I have most variants of CBJ Jerseys and OU jerseys non customized. I sat on one of the focus groups for the CBJ 3rd jersey and got one free. I get the most compliments when I wear my OU game worn jersey to CBJ games.

I have a 2004 Nash ASG jersey I bought in Minnesota because I won tickets playing NHL fantasy hockey. We were given free tickets to the invitation only after ASG party with free alcohol, BNL private concert and fireworks inside a big ice castle built for the ASG game. A good time

Hi! I'm not what you would call an official Columbus fan, I'm more of a Laine fan and I've never had a problem with the Blue Jackets or their fans! I already officially cheer for 2 teams, the Rangers and the Jets and some people already think that's 1 team too many! I've hopped on the CBJ playoff bandwagon a few times in the past. I'll be watching a few more CBJ games than I normally do, now that Laine is there, because I truly believe he is improving his overall game on a daily basis and that we're going to regret the circumstances that led to him wanting a trade.
