Terodde now joining Schalke after also representing HSV, Köln, and Stuttgart within the last five years. Playing for all of them in the second league.

Then and there
Hertha with a big win over Freiburg and they're out of relegation places. They still play against other relegation strugglers, so they cand be dragged back down, though.

To a surprise of no-one, "FC Bayern, Deutsche Meister" for 9th time in a row as they trash MGB. Never thought I would see it happen, but Lewandowski is now only 1 goal behind of Gerd Muller for one season goals record with two games still left.

Dortmund's attack was impressive today without Håland, very creative, as they beat Leipzig for an all-important win when it comes to CL spots. Sancho probably had his best game of the season.

Kaiserslautern with big points in 3. Liga relegation duel against Uerdingen, interesting to see what FC Bayern will do to save their second team from amateur football especially as the next two matches are against local rivals and the first team has nothing to play for (other than Lewandowski's record).

Schalke hit the post twice in added time, but we unable to deny Hertha's victory. Hertha looks pretty safe now, at least against direct relegation. The Köln game can decide it once and for all.

BvB wins the Pokal over Leipzig. Yes they'll likely be perennial bridesmaids, but they always look good doing it.

P.S. Here's hoping Haaland (and Sancho) stays with the black-and-yellow for another year.

So, Lewandowski tied Gerd Muller's single season league scorind record and still has one game left to surpass him.

Lewa also had a miss of the season. He was all alone at the goal line, but somehow managed to direct the ball sideways into the arms of a stranded keeper several meters away.

Schalke actually played good football attacking wise in that match. Plenty of youngsters in the line up, looks for 2.BL next season.

Frankfurt's level of play from before Hutter's move was announced and since was night and day. What a catastrophic collapse.

Same thing began happening with Gladbach around the time speculation really kicked in about Rose (which was around the time of the Köln game). Feel terrible for Frankfurt because they would've been fun to have in the Champions League next year. I'm not thrilled Dortmund managed to rescue their season, and Wolfsburg is just plain boring as opposed to Frankfurt.

Pretty disappointed in general with how this Bundesliga season turned out. Not much of a great title race, and the only team that fought with Bayern was the only team more unlikeable than Bayern, while Dortmund won the Pokal they win every few years and the team that got the one non-Bayern/BvB/Rasenballsport CL spot is Leipzig's super-boring predecessors. Frankfurt hurt themselves by struggling at the beginning and end of the season, Leverkusen crashed midseason, Gladbach never stopped leaking points from 2nd half leads (they've lost 22 points from winning positions in the 2nd half this season)...meh meh meh. The Bundesliga is my favorite league but I just ended up tuning out altogether towards the end.

The cup is a great trophy to win but half the fun in it is bringing the fans to Berlin for a big party to end the season. So the whole Covid thing really killed that part of it.
