Jiggs is the goat but Brendan is fantastic…really brings a lot to big moments while also allowing the game to “breathe” when necessary. Tough to find in todays age of broadcasters.

Honestly? I'm just gonna go ahead and say it....... There has been no drop off at all since Reilly replaced Pelech in the lineup. Not knocking Pelech but something's been off since last year. His injuries have either taken a huge toll or he's aging quickly but Reilly has been solid defensively and gives us more in the offensive zone.

Let’s also remember Reilly has warts defensively which have also shown, Sorokin bailed him out on the Kempe breakaway at end of third. He’s been good mostly though, especially for guy we got for free.

All the hate directed at Lee was a product of the LA Kings Broadcast. After Lee hit their defender the color analyst cried no no no and said it was a dirty slew foot by Lee and he repeated it again when Lee went down with another player. What a homer. When Lee scored he was exasperated at said he shouldn’t even be on the ice and ejected for that hit. Morons

It's games like tonight where Mayfield shows his worth to the team. Sticking up for his teammates has always been his identity and his shot on net led to Lee's 2nd goal. You just have to take the good and the bad.

He has also elevated his game in the playoffs. 7 years is excessive, but he is a quality player in his role.

Except this year it has been 99% bad. I hope he turns it around.

The difference between Reilly and his warts and Aho and his warts is that Reilly actually creates the offense that Aho was supposed to. At least that compensates for the defensive mistakes.

To be fair, the response you were quoting was from a chain that started with the premise that there has been a minimal drop-off from Pelech to Reilly.

Reilly over Pelech on the short-term can be survived, but over the course of a season it would be bad.

Reilly over Aho, sure no problem. But with that said Reilly has had some equally bad Aho moments. But overall seems a better option.

What did you and others think of Bolduc? He didn’t look like a car wreck… so that’s a start.
