Excellent so another top 5 pick for the Canucks it is.

I feel the need to say this...don’t excited about points in garbage time for average veteran players. This part of the season will tell you very little about how Leivo, Pearson etc will have things carry over next season.

Pearson and Leivo are pretty good 3rd/2nd line floaters. Problem is the Canucks have 5 or 6 guys for those roles.

God no. Schenn has been decent but he’s clearly a #7/8 guy in the NHL. At most it’s a two year deal and not at anything like $1.75.

I have zero issues with Schenn in our top-6.

But where he’s at there is no way in hell he should be getting anything other than a 1-year deal.

But where he’s at there is no way in hell he should be getting anything other than a 1-year deal.

I prefer him as a 7/8 which means he’s going to be in the top 6 for 50ish games. That’s acceptable.
