It's easy, we lose in OT because we don't value possession on 3 vs 3. We don't mind shooting from far away on poor % shots. Then the other team takes the puck, makes a high % play and scores. All the ****ing time.

It didn't help that Mack just stood there and watch Ekblad shoot.

Brassard was good. MacKinnon passing to Calvert of all people instead of shooting that puck should haunt him.

Still mind boggling that we win 4 in a row and then remove two guys who played well during that stretch to put in two plugs who haven't done shit for the team all season. Just a joke of decision.

Get those two guys back and shoot Dries and Bourque to the moon please. You want to know why we lost its because we had to shorten the bench because those two idiots couldn't be trusted at all in the 3rd, which put extra minutes on everyone else. Just bad.

The only OT we've won was on a PP. Its probably gotten to their heads at this point. I feel like half the OT losses came on the 1st shot this year.

They gave away a point tonight. This should have been a win, and the game was right there for the taking. With this ridiculous OT crap they might cost themselves a playoff berth. Just win half of the 12 loses...6 more points...we'd be tied with St. Louis for third in the division right now and looking awfully good to make the post-season. They've got the ****ing talent to do well in OT. At this point it's definitely in all of their heads.

The Avs finally had what looked to be a good thing going on their 4th line, and then they throw out ****ing Andrighetto, Dries, and Bourque. Why?

What is there to lose if you put any of those players on waivers/send them down? Greer-Toninato-Agozzino, play that 4th line and then when Wilson returns he can take the spot of Agozzino.

Just stupid to me.

I still can't believe MacKinnon, who was firing from everywhere and scoring just last time, passed up a chance with Luongo out of position to make a drop pass to Calvert with a minute to go.

Coz he thought he was gonna be cute with the fancy no-look drop pass—which of course amounted to squat! Wasn’t real impressed with his defense on the OT game winner as well. He was pretty much cruising... watching the puck till it got shot and went in.

Glad the Avs got a point, but yet again they crap the bed in OT. They are unquestionably the worst OT team in modern history. Just absolutely clueless!!!
